As I write this, the doors have just been officially opened to Glastonbury Festival. The pandemic has meant this is the first festival in three years. It is great to have it back as not only is it a wonderful occasion, it contributes an enormous amount to the local economy.
Wells MP James Heappey visited the MIND hub in Shepton, following its great work to support those with mental health challenges - having been open for 18 months.
As I write this, organisations, businesses, and communities across the county are marking and celebrating Somerset Day. Every May, it is a chance to shout about all the wonderful things about Somerset and look back on the heritage of this great county.
