James Heappey calls for local traders to help secure new post office location

Wells Post office

Wells MP James Heappey is calling on the city's High Street traders following the resignation of the current postmaster.

Since June 2021, the post office has been located at Natural Pets of Wells on Queen Street following the closure in the High Street. It has been extremely difficult to find appropriate locations, and those willing to take it on.

From Peacocks finding themselves in financial difficulty, to housing a temporary solution at Wells Bus Station, this valued community service has been challenging.

I have continued to push and to assist with finding a permanent solution. If you think you can help, please do express your interests by following this link.
