Wells MP James Heappey has welcomed the news today (Friday) that the Housing Minister has earmarked £294,000 for areas in Glastonbury and Street to support the building of homes on publicly-owned brownfield land.
This week is half term which as all working parents will know brings with it the challenge of trying to find child care cover during the days. Some local schools are offering holiday clubs and there are plenty of nurseries that offer child care for school age children too.

Wells MP James Heappey visited Bishops Green, in Wookey Hole Road, Wells, following concerns from constituents about electrical components, containing a small amount of radium, which were found on the site.
