Last week’s weather was pretty epic and caused huge excitement for my children who got the thrill of their first school Snow Days. Yet for all the excitement in households with children, there was also some really serious work going on to make sure that essential services were maintained.

Dominic Raab announced new funding to help speed up planning decisions and help deliver quality, new homes.

This week Glastonbury Town Council have started to distribute a survey to residents asking what people think about building a bypass that will allow passing traffic to avoid the current bottleneck at the foot of Glastonbury Tor on Chilkwell Street.

James Heappey MP backs Plastic Free Parliament initiative

Wells MP James Heappey has joined the battle against single-use plastic by supporting Surfers Against Sewage’s latest project Plastic Free Parliament.

The initiative, which has just been launched, aims to reduce the amount of avoidable single-use plastic used in Parliament.
