Cheddar MP James Heappey has met with local council candidates Jeff Savage and Graham Godwin Pearson to discuss a host of issues, including the Magic Roundabout and antisocial behaviour in and around the Gorge.

A Conservative administration would commit the funding to improve the junction between the A371 and the B3135.

Cllr Graham Godwin-Pearson says, "The Magic Roundabout has been a bottleneck for so many years, with extra constraints put on it from the quarry lorries. It will only get worse with the new housing development planned for Upper New Road.

"If elected, Jeff and I will prioritise taking this junction back to the drawing board, to make it safer for all road users, more logical and less of a congestion hot-spot."
